Fire damages Hopkinsville building

A Sunday afternoon fire damages a building in Hopkinsville.

Hopkinsville Fire Department officials told WKDZ the fire occurred at a building on West 15th Street near North Drive.  The building was used as a shop where vehicles are serviced and was fully engulfed when firemen arrived.

Fire investigators said the owner had been working in the building and left.  When he returned, he found the building on fire.  The fire was quickly put out and no injuries were reported.
