McCracken County men arrested on drug charges

Two McCracken County men were arrested in separate drug investigations over the weekend.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Office said 56 year old Joe V. Crayton was arrested at his Lovelaceville Florence Station Road East home Friday after the sheriff's office received tips and complaints drug trafficking was taking place at the residence.

Deputies executed a search warrant where approximately 30 grams of crystal methamphetamine was discovered along with marijuana, psilocybin mushrooms and money.

Crayton was taken to the McCracken County Regional Jail.

Saturday night, deputies 44 year old Joel B. Humphrey on Wilton Circle.

More than 50 grams of crystal meth was discovered along with cash.

Humphrey was taken to the McCracken County Regional Jail and while being booked, he was observed retrieving a bag of Dilaudid pills he had concealed on his person.

He was charged with trafficking in a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and promoting contraband.
