School threat proves to be false in Christian County

A threat posted online led to heightened security at several schools in Christian County Monday.

Hopkinsville Police said they learned a threat circulated on social media involving Christian County schools.

School district spokeswoman Johnna Brown told WKDZ after further investigation it was determined there was no credible threat and all schools were deemed safe and would continue operation on a normal schedule.
