A check of a parked car early Monday morning led to drug charges for a Graves County man.
The Graves County Sheriff's Office said that about 1:40 am, a vehicle was spotted at a storage facility on KY 303 just south of Mayfield.
Deputies encountered John C. Engard, who was acting jittery and restless. While speaking with Engard, he admitted to having methamphetamine on his person.
Deputies located a glass pipe that contained meth in Engard’s pocket. He was arrested and transported to the Graves County RC Center and later transported to an out of county facility.
Engard's charges included possesion of a controlled substance, DUI and no operator’s license.
