Burn ban lifted in Marshall County

The burn ban in Marshall County has been lifted.

Judge Executive Kevin Spraggs made the announcement Monday, saying the recent rainfall was enough to lift the ban. However, officials still are asking residents to use extreme caution when burning,

As of now, only Carlisle and Crittenden counties in western Kentucky are still listed by the Kentucky Division of Forestry as having burn bans in place.
