During Governor Andy Beshear's Team Kentucky update on Thursday, he recognized two chefs as Team Kentucky All-Stars.
Beshear highlighted Paducah's Sara Bradley and Lexington's Ouita Michael during his remarks.
Bradley, the chef and owner of the freight house, finished as runner-up on season 16 of "Top Chef". She is competing again, this time on season 20 for the World All-Stars championship. The show was shot in England and France and will air on Bravo.
Beshear said, "Sara is already an all-star here in Kentucky – so we wish her the best of luck. Let's cheer her on when the show begins on March 9."
Michael, the chef and proprietor of several restaurants in the Bluegrass, received an appointment to the American Culinary Corps to add to her accomplishments.
