Tuesday morning fire claims life of Caldwell County man

A Caldwell County man died in a house fire Tuesday morning.

WPKY reported the Caldwell County Fire Department responded to the home at 599 Dripping Springs Road around 7 am.  When firemen arrived, two rooms of the six room house were fully engulfed in flames along with the body of 59-year-old Robert Stewart.

Reports also indicate two firemen were slightly injured.  It took firemen two and a half hours to put out the fire.  The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
