Physical altercation lands one man in jail

A physical altercation in Murray landed one man in jail on Tuesday night.

Calloway County Sheriff’s deputies were called about 9:30 p.m. Tuesday about the disturbance. Their investigation indicated that a man assaulted another individual, inflicting pain and allegedly restricting the person’s airway. Stephen Walker was reportedly identified as the suspect in the case. Walker was arrested and taken to the Calloway County Detention Facility.

Walker and the other individual declined medical treatment.
