Traffic stop sends Murray man to jail on drug charge

A traffic stop on Wednesday sent a Murray man to jail on a drug charge.

Just before 7 p.m. Wednesday, Murray Police stopped a vehicle driven by 60-year-old Monty Stom after a traffic violation. According to the report, officers located methamphetamine in Stom's possession during the stop. 

Stom was arrested and charged with meth possession and a traffic violation. He was taken to the Calloway County Jail.
