A Saturday traffic stop in Reidland landed three people in jail for methamphetamine and marijuana.

McCracken County deputies pulled over a vehicle driven by 32-year-old Danielle Helton of Mounds, Ill, for a traffic violation on Benton Road in the Reidland area. They said 20-year-old Bobby Brisentine of Calvert City and 49-year-old Jeffrey T. Sexton of Paducah were also in the car.

During a search, Helton, Brisentine and Sexton were all found to be in possession of crystal methamphetamine and marijuana. While en route to the McCracken County Regional Jail, deputies learned Helton hid drugs on her person.

Helton, Sexton and Brisentine were all charged with possession of methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia, while Helton was also charged with obstruction of vision and tampering with physical evidence.
