Two injured in car/moped accident

Two Paducah residents were treated for injuries following a Thursday night traffic accident.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Office said the collision involved a vehicle and a moped.

Investigators reported that 21-year-old Jayden Smith was operating a moped at US 45 and Englert Road when it rear-ended a car operated by 40-year-old CHang Hung.

Smith was ejected from the moped.

Both men were taken to local hospitals for treatment.
