An early Saturday morning traffic stop landed a man in jail for possession of meth.
Deputies said they conducted a traffic stop at 1:30 a.m. on Lone Oak Road for failure to signal and expired plates. They also said Joseph Herzog did not have insurance on the vehicle.
K9 Deputy Sakal was called to assist and he alerted to alleged meth in the vehicle.
Herzog was arrested on charges of possession of methamphetamine, failure to signal and expired plates.
