Traffic stop leads to arrest of Paducah man

A Saturday afternoon traffic stop on Metropolis Lake Road landed a Paducah man behind bars.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Office made the stop and the driver, 56-year-old James t. Abanatha had a loaded gun and a small quantity of methamphetamine.

Abanatha, a convicted felon, was lodged in the McCracken County Detention Center.
