An early morning traffic stop in Paducah that turned into a meth arrest for a Paducah man.
A McCracken County Sheriff's deputy stopped a motorcycle on South 28th Street just before 1 a.m. Thursday. When the bike stopped the driver took off on foot. The deputy quickly caught up to the driver, 21-year-old Dakota J. Hayes. Hayes was allegedly in possession of methamphetamine.
Hayes was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine, fleeing or evading police, operating on a suspended license, and other offenses.
