Information from concerned citizens led to a search warrant and drug charges of a Carlisle County man on Wednesday.
The Carlisle County Sheriff's Office said they received information from concerned citizens about Timothy Moore and his alleged drug use.
Deputies along with Kentucky State Police conducted a welfare check at Moore's home in the 100 block of KY 80. While speaking with Moore, probable cause for a search warrant was obtained.
Authorities found a used syringe in the toilet and a burnt spoon in the trash can, with residue they said field tested positive for methamphetamine.
Moore is currently on probation out of Carlisle County Circuit Court, after he was found guilty in 2023 for possession of a controlled substance.
Moore was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and tampering with physical evidence.
