Tip lands McCracken man in jail on numerous drug trafficking charges

A tip about drug trafficking taking place at a Paducah hotel led to a McCracken County man's arrest Monday.

Detectives said they learned 43-year-old Sean Irons was staying at a hotel on Hinkleville Road and selling Fentanyl pills.

Irons reportedly agreed to sell an undercover officer some fentanyl, leading to his arrest in the parking lot of the hotel.

Authorities said a search uncovered Fentanyl, cocaine, methamphetamine, marijuana, synthetic marijuana, and cash.

Irons was charged with trafficking in fentanyl, cocaine, meth, marijuana, synethetic drugs, and for possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was taken to the McCracken County jail.
