Mayfield man jailed after traffic accident

A traffic accident on Tuesday night in McCracken County led to the arrest of a Mayfield man.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Office was called to the intersection of New Holt Road and North Friendship Road around 10:30 pm.

A vehicle operated by 59-year-old Dennis Walker of Melber was struck by a vehicle driven by 26-year-old JT Bruce of Mayfield.

Walker was taken to a local hospital for treatment while Bruce was arrested for driving under the influence and failure to produce an insurance card.

Bruce was lodged in the McCracken County Regional Jail.
