Three people wounded in Christian County shooting

Three people were wounded in a Sunday afternoon shooting in Christian County.

WKDZ reported the shooting took place on Forest Park Boulevard.  The Christian County Sheriff's Office said when they arrived, the three people had been taken to an area hospital by private means.  They were treated and released.

Investigators found several shell casings on the roadway, with two homes and one car hit by the gunfire.  It was also indicated the shooter or shooters fired shots from the roadway and fled the scene.  The search for the suspect or suspects continues.
