Tennessee woman injured in Graves County collision

A collision in Graves County sent one person to the hospital on Wednesday afternoon.

Deputies said the crash occurred on US 45 and KY 80.  They said 79-year-old Jimmy Etheridge of Reagan, TN, pulled into the intersection and collided with a truck driven by 23-year-old Christian Mendoza of Batesville, AR.  

Mendoza was treated at the scene but did not request transport to a medical facility.  A passenger in Etheridge’s vehicle, 49-year-old Mary Hayes of Sardis, TN, was transported to Mercy Health Paducah.  

Etheridge was cited for possession of an open alcoholic beverage container and disregarding a traffic control device.
