A 16-year-old male juvenile in Lyon County was charged after he allegedly was heard making threats about bringing a bomb to school.
The sheriff's office said a school resource officer at Lyon County High School investigated the threats on Friday. After conducted multiple interviews, he reportedly determined that the teen had “made threats to bring a bomb and blow up the school”.
WPKY reported that the teen was detained and charged with second-degree terroristic threatening. He was lodged in the McCracken County Regional Juvenile Detention Center.
