The Tennessee Valley Authority Board of Directors, based in Knoxville and Chattanooga, invites the public to join them as they conduct their quarterly business meeting next week in Murray.
The meeting will be held Thursday, Nov. 7 at 9 a.m. at the Curris Center at Murray State University.
A live stream of the meeting will also be available on TVA.com .
A listening session will be held from 2 – 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 6, in the Curris Center. Pre-registration is required to speak at the event.
Individuals wishing to address the Board have the choice of registering to speak in person or submitting written comments through the Board's webpage at tva.com/board .
The Tennessee Valley Authority is a federally owned electric utility corporation whose service area covers all of Tennessee, portions of Kentucky, Alabama and Mississippi, and small areas of Georgia, North Carolina, and Virginia.
The TVA also provides navigation and land management along the fifth-largest river and lake system in the United States, including 49 dams.
