Suspicious vehicle report in Calvert City becomes drug arrest for two from Paducah

A report of a suspicious vehicle in Calvert City last week led police to arrest a pair of Paducah residents.

Calvert City Police noticed the vehicle parked on Cirrito Lane during a patrol. Officers approached the SUV and, reportedly, the two people were in the back of the vehicle with drug paraphernalia in the open. The occupants, 42-year-old Tommy L. Atkins and 49-year-old Shannon L. Brock -- both of Paducah -- were also allegedly in possession of methamphetamine. 

The two were arrested and charged with meth possession.
