Suspect arrested in Clarks River Road thefts

A suspect has been arrested in connection to a series of thefts from a business on Clark's River Road.

McCracken County Sheriff's deputies were alerted to a suspicious truck in the area of Lee's Heating and Air. They intercepted the truck and the driver, 62-year-old Mark McDowell of Hopkinsville. McDowell is accused of stealing scrap air conditioning units from Lee's property during the last several weeks, including twice last week. 

McDowell was arrested and charged with theft by unlawful taking up to $10,000. More charges are possible in the case.
