A stolen vehicle investigation Friday morning led to the arrest of a Louisville man.

Paducah Police were alerted by the Flock system to a possible stolen vehicle in the area of Alben Barkley Drive.

Officers located the vehicle in the parking lot of a local business and identified the driver as 44 year old Tyrone Pearson of Louisville. They determined the vehicle had been rented in July from a car dealership in Lexington who later reported it stolen.

During the investigation Pearson was argumentative, refused to comply with officers, and approached them in a threatening manner.

Officers used a taser to gain control of Pearson and he was placed under arrest.

Pearson was lodged in the McCracken County Jail on charges of receiving stolen property over $10,000, disorderly conduct, meancing and resisting arrest.
