A stripped-out car led Metropolis Police to uncover a mini crime spree and arrest a man.

Police were called to Harrah's by Illinois Gaming Bureau officers after they located a stripped and damaged car in a parking lot.

Even though license plates had been taken off the car. Police were able to locate the vehicle's owner who told them that things had been taken from the car. Their investigation led them to suspect 33-year-old Randy Bradley Jr. of Metropolis was involved.

Further information indicated that Bradley had also allegedly broken into the First Methodist Church and a nearby home close to 5th and Scott Street. That victim notified police and they were able to find Bradley in an alley between 5th and 5th Streets. Officers said that Bradley was "extremely irrational and combative."

Bradley was arrested and charged with residential burglary, vehicular burglary, criminal damage to property, and several misdemeanors.
