Mayfield Independent Schools said on Wednesday that they were made aware of a threat that they said potentially involved Mayfield High School. District officials said that local law enforcement is investigating and have determined that there is no danger. They reiterated that the safety of students and staff are top priority.
Threats have been reported via social media at Henderson County Schools Wednesday, as well. These follow reports of threats toward Marshall County Schools and Christian County Schools earlier this week.
