Gov. Andy Beshear joined local leaders Wednesday at the site of the new, nearly complete Christian County High School to announce over $9.1 million in grant funds to benefit the county.
The funding will support construction of athletic fields at the new high school, as well as a new transportation facility, high-speed internet expansion, enhanced cybersecurity and improvements at Christian County Public Library.
Beshear also celebrated seven new homes for 2021 tornado survivors in Dawson Springs. While he was there, $6.3 million in funding was announced to expand internet access, improve roads, support industrial development and market tourism destinations in Hopkins County .
