Spots of frost possible, then turning rainy for the weekend

Chilly mornings could be frosty toward Evansville for the end of the week, then rain will start to move in from the west over the weekend. 

Paducah's morning lows on Thursday and Friday are forecast at 39 and 36 degrees. Temperatures could slip close to the freezing mark in the Pennyrile region.Frost development is possible Thursday morning and especially Friday morning across the northern section of southern Ilinois and into the Kentucky Pennyrile region.

A chance of showers moves in Friday mainly in Missouri, then across the rest of the Quad State through the weekend. The best chance of rain overall looks to be late Saturday night through Sunday, but no severe weather is expected.

After that, a slight chance of rain is present for much of next week.
