Murray man charged after reported sexual assault of a juvenile

A Murray man has been arrested following a report of a sexual assault of a juvenile. 

Murray Police said their department began their investigation of the reported sexual assault on September 25. 

The result of that investigation ended with the arrest of 28-year-old Matthew Adams. Adams was charged with two counts of rape-1st degree, three counts of distribution of obscene matter to a minor, and one count of indecent exposure. 

Murray Police said they were aided in the case by the Vanderbilt University Police Department and Calloway County Sheriff’s Office Court Security.
