Speed trailer placed on 7th Street in Calvert City

The Calvert City Police Department has deployed a Street Scout Speed Trailer on 7th Avenue near Memorial Park. 

The trailer was loaned to the Calvert City Police Department by the Marshall County Sheriff's Office. 

The City said this comes after concerns were raised during the June City Council meeting about speeding in neighborhoods, especially where kids are playing, biking, and walking.
