Shar-Cal Road in Calvert City to close for repairs

Shar-Cal Road will be closed at the intersection of Industrial Parkway (KY-1523) for necessary railroad crossing repairs beginning the week of November 18.

The closure is expected to last for the duration of the week to ensure the safety and long-term reliability of the crossing.

During this period, drivers needing access to businesses along Shar-Cal Road are advised to use McFarland Road as an alternate route.

Clear signage will be posted to assist with detours and maintain traffic flow to local businesses.
