Section of KY 534 in Graves County closed because of damage to cross drain

A section of KY 534 in Graves County has been closed because of damage to a cross drain.

The closure is on KY 534 between the east and west sections of Dooms Chapel Road, about 2 miles south of KY 348/Symsonia Highway.

Kentucky Transportation Cabinet engineers think that flash flood waters could be what damaged the drain. The closure will remain in place until a replacement drain can be procured and installed. 

There is no marked detour.
