Paducah's 31st annual Barbecue On the River charity cookout will be "returning home" to its original location along the downtown city block parking lot and the Farmer's Market.
That word comes from organizers, due to construction underway for the Downtown Paducah BUILD grant, which will include a riverboat excursion pier at the boat dock, and improvements to the river side of the floodwall between the Paducah-McCracken County Convention & Expo Center and Broadway.
In the meantime, pre-registration for all new vendors interested in participating this year will begin this Saturday. All other vendor applications will be available beginning February 24.
The pre-registration form and online application will soon be available at BBQ Paducah.com , and at the Beautiful Paducah web page under the BBQ On the River tab.
Musicians interested in playing during the event can email a press kit and performance audio files to info@bbqpaducah.com .
Last year, more than $319,000 was raised for dozens of local and regional charities.
