Search warrant leads to drug charges for Paducah couple

A Paducah couple was arrested on numerous drug charges Tuesday following the search of a home.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Office said they executed the search warrant at a home on North 11th Street in Paducah. 

During the search detectives allegedly found and seized quantities of cocaine, marijuana, marijuana wax, synthetic marijuana, anabolic steroids, two handguns, assorted drug paraphernalia and money believed to proceeds of illegal drug sales. Authorities said some of the illegal items seized were in areas easily accessible to several small children who were in the home during the search.
 
Following their search, detectives arrested 35-year-old Dallas Woodford and 24-year-old Maria Harned, who both live at the home.

Woodford was on parole at the time of his arrest for prior felony drug trafficking convictions and he is unable to lawfully possess a firearm due to those prior felony convictions.

The children at the home were released to a family member.

Woodford was charged with firearm enhanced trafficking in marijuana 2nd or subsequent offense, firearm enhanced possession of cocaine, possession of a synthetic drug, possession of an anabolic steroid, possession of drug paraphernalia, wanton endangerment 2nd degree, and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon .

Harned was charged with possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana, possession of synthetic drug, possession of drug paraphernalia, and wanton endangerment 2nd degree.
