Search underway for missing male

The McCracken County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help to locate a missing adult.

Twenty four year old Jose Cortez was last seen at his home at Indian Oaks Sunday afternoon.

Cortez suffers from mental health issues and his mental status is not known at this time.  He is described as a Hispanic male, with short dark hair, brown eyes and no facial hair.

He was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt and blue jeans.

He fled on foot and is somewhere in the Paducah/McCracken County area.  Anyone with any information is asked to contact the McCracken County Sheriff's Office.
