U of L establishing endowed scholarship to honor Bailey Holt

The School of Nursing at the University of Louisville is setting up an endowment to honor Bailey Holt.

Holt was one of two students killed in the school shooting at Marshall County High School on January 20, 2018.

Bailey dreamed of becoming a labor and delivery nurse, always helping those in need and seeing the best in everyone she met according to her mother Secret.

Secret Holt added: " By establishing thisendowed scholarship, Bailey’s memory will live on,enabling others to pursue their dream of becoming a labor and delivery nurse. Though Bailey didn’t
have the opportunity to fulfill this dream, herlegacy will inspire and support othersin reaching it. Help us fulfill Bailey’s dream through others in giving to the Bailey Holt Endowed Scholarship in Labor and Delivery. “
