An Arlington man was arrested on several drug charges following a multi-agency search of his home Sunday.
The Carlisle County Sheriff's office said deputies along with deputies from the Ballard County Sheriff's Office and officers with the Kentucky State Police, and Kentucky Fish and Wildlife executed a search warrant at the home of 45-year-old Edward Wallace of Arlington. The search warrant was part of an investigation into the sale and use of illegal narcotics in the area.
Authorities said they found over 2 grams of suspected methamphetamine, a small amount of Marijuana and multiple items of drug paraphernalia including pipes and needles during the search. They said they also found drugs prescribed to another individual not located in the home.
Wallace was charged with trafficking controlled substance, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a legend drug.
Wallace is currently on parole from a 2020 Conviction for trafficking controlled substance in which he received a 13-year sentence. Authorities said he is in violation of his probation by not living at the address he provided to probation and parole.
