Two flown to hospitals from Caldwell County crash

A single-vehicle crash into a bridge support in Caldwell County Saturday saw two people flown to hospitals.

The crash occurred along eastbound I-24 near the 56-mile marker. Deputies located a vehicle that had run off the road through a ditch, then collided with the bridge pier of an overpass.

The driver, 23-year-old Mickal Miller, and her passenger, 23-year-old Marvon Gordon, both of Kansas City had to be extricated from the vehicle.

Miller was flown to a hospital in Evansville, while Gordon was flown to Nashville.
