The Christian County Sheriff's Office said firemen from Pembroke, Fairview and Honey Grove fire departments put ouf the blaze on Long Pond Road.
Pembroke firemen reported the barn was fully engulfed when they arrived, and nearby structures were threatened by exposure to the fire. Authorities said crews then began defensive operations and successfully protected adjacent buildings.
Firefighters said the tobacco barn was a total loss. The cause of the fire was not known and no injuries were reported.
