Crashes slowed traffic across the Ohio

Crashes slowed traffic Sunday across the Ohio River.

McCracken County Sheriff’s deputies were called to westbound I-24 near the 1-mile marker for a crash involving several vehicles. It happened just before Noon and blocked both westbound lanes for a period of time and caused significant backups.

During the westbound delays, JPsTraffic.com also reported a crash on the Brookport Bridge. That created delays as well.  

Westbound lanes of I-24 were reopened after nearly two hours.
