The Illinois Department of Transportation is planning a work zone lane restriction on Interstate 24 westbound in McCracken County on Wednesday.
During daytime hours, a crew will be installing rumble strips between mile markers 4 and 7.5 along I-24 westbound. This is part of the I-24 Ohio River Bridge work zone.
Motorists should be alert for signs and arrow boards directing traffic into the appropriate lane.
