Old Salem Road bridge reopens in Calloway County

Motorists can now travel on Old Salem Road for the first time in four years after the bridge over Clarks River was reopened to traffic Tuesday.

The Murray Sentinel reported the bridge replaces one originally built in the 1940's on KY 94 West which was later moved to Old Salen Road in 1976.  The cost of rebuilding the bridge was $1.3 million.
