Road work on I-24 to take place near Cumberland River bridge beginning Monday

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans a daytime lane restriction on I-24 at the Cumberland River Bridge beginning Monday.

Crews will work in the westbound lane on the bridge Monday at the Livingston-Lyon County line between mile markers 33 and 35.  The crew will then work in the eastbound lane on Tuesday.

Work will begin at 7 am and be finished by 3:30 pm both days weather permitting.
