Friday night crash sends one to the hospital, driver facing charges

A Paducah man will face a DUI charge after a crash on Friday night sent him to the hospital.

The single-vehicle crash happened at about 10:42 p.m. along Mayfield-Metropolis Road. McCracken County Sheriff's deputies said that an SUV driven by 34-year-old Justin Jones of Paducah ran off the road into a ditch before rolling over into a field. Investigators believe Jones was under the influence at the time of the crash. 

Jones was released to care at the hospital after being cited. He is charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence with aggravating circumstances.
