A wanted Mayfield man was arrested Sunday in Calloway County on numerous charges.
Mayfield police contacted the Calloway County Sheriff's Office to request that deputies visit a home on Wrather Road to search for Jacob Adkins, who was wanted in Mayfield for questioning.
While responding to the home, a deputy spotted a truck on Airport Road that matched the description of Adkins' vehicle
As deputies attempted to stop the truck, the driver reportedly fled at speeds of 100 miles per hour.
The driver reportedly made several turns while attempting to avoid capture before driving into a field and colliding with two deputies.
The driver was identified as Adkins and he was charged with assault, fleeing or evading, wanton endangerment, resisting arrest, driving on a DUI suspended license, and several traffic offenses.
He was taken to the Calloway County jail.
