A Princeton woman is facing charges related to the taking and cashing of counterfeit lottery tickets.

According to WPKY, Princeton Police said they were called to a gas station on US 62 back on January 29th after some lottery tickets were allegedly taken off the rolls. The store manager told police that tickets were missing from more than one roll. Surveillance video obtained by police from two gas stations in Princeton and two in Madisonville allegedly showed Traci Kemp of Princeton cashing the matching numbered tickets.

Kemp was arrested back in February but was formally indicted this week on five counts of altering, forging, or passing counterfeit lottery tickets. Sixty more counts of that same charge were dismissed.
