Princeton man charged with burglary, assault in Lyon County

A Princeton man was arrested on charges of burglary and assault after an incident in Lyon County on New Year’s Eve.

Deputies were sent to a disturbance complaint in the Lamasco area. They said 33-year-old Gregary Vaughn, Jr. was reportedly intoxicated and unlawfully entered a home off of KY 1262 where he strangled and assaulted the homeowner before he was removed from the home by a third party.

Vaughn was taken into custody Monday and charged with strangulation, assault and burglary. He was lodged in the Crittenden County Jail.
