Portion of Berger Road to close next week

A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to close Berger Road in Paducah at the US 45 Intersection starting at 7 am on Monday.

This will be a multi-day project to install new curb and gutter to tie into US 45. Crews estimate  Berger Road will reopen on Thursday, Nov. 21 at 4 pm, weather permitting.

The road will be open to local traffic only. Residents and businesses should enter at the east end of Berger Road via Old Mayfield Road.

There will be no impact to traffic along US 45.
