Police are looking for help identifying alleged copper thieves from Thursday and Friday morning.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Department said on Thursday that two people in a black Chevrolet Equinox drove onto the property of Lee's Heating and Air off Clarks River Road just before 5 a.m. The men were captured on surveillance video allegedly loading thousands of dollars of copper coil into their SUV.

Lee's posted additional photos on Friday of thieves on their property allegedly stealing more copper. The truck was on the property just after 5 a.m. They said on social media that nail strips were laid down in that part of their property and they believe that the Dodge truck in question should have multiple flat tires. Surveillance video indicated that the truck left the property toward Reidland.

Deputies ask that anyone with information on the identity and location of those involved call the McCracken County Sheriff's Department or submit an anonymous tip to West Kentucky Crime Stoppers.

The company is offering a $1,000 reward, as well, for information leading to a conviction. They said the copper stolen from them is valued at $15,000 to $20,000.
