The philanthropic arm of Pella Corporation is supporting an effort to renovate the Aquatic Center at Murray-Calloway County Parks.

The Pella Rolscreen Foundation has given $50,000 to the City of Murray for the renovation project. The Aquatic Center has been closed since 2019.

Brent Kjellberg, Associate Director at the Pella Plant in Murray, said “As a company, we are proud to be able to help make a difference in the communities where we live and work.”

The grant is part of a larger distribution, totaling $295,000, to 15 organizations in Kentucky, Illinois, Iowa, Pennsylvania, and Oregon--all states where Pella has facilities.

Pella also raised $60,000 in relief funds for Pella employees affected by the December tornado.
